All you have to do is plug the set number into the Brickpicker Lego price guide to find that the answer is yes, for your own collection. Not a lot of room to make money on it as an investment though.

If it`s verified complete, yes do it. Always try and toss in a lower offer and see if the seller bites. Go $500, if not, $550 is pretty good just the same.

Good condition with manuals. Deal?

Of course :). Go run and get it.

I paid $515 for the one used in my building thread. I was only able to get it for that price since it was an off eBay deal, the buyer wasn't certain it was complete (it was), and the person only lived 100 miles away. Too bad he refused to mail the box but it was pretty messed up anyway,

The key elements to watch out for our the little dark gray fences. All 254 of them. They sell for $.40-.50 cents used.

$550 with manuals is also a very acceptable buy-in price to flip it for $750-$800.

I would buy it. Just check if it is complete or 99,99% complete. Also check if the manuals are the real deal. Not a pdf thing. Otherwise it might be a bricklinked tower.
