I had a good laugh when I googled "may 15th lego exclusive vip set".  Your Micheal Corleone and Migration's shifter are the top 2 google images for some reason. That ought to leave non brickpicker LEGO fans scratching their heads.

Nothing on the Lego UK shop when I looked a moment ago. Nothing came back when searching either. The mixer is still shown as coming on June 1st. No VIP email either but I wouldn't expect that to be mass mailed before its on the website.

So how long does it usually take to get your VIP card after you've signed up?  I signed up online back on March 1 when I ordered for a MM and I still haven't received my card yet.  Is this typical or should I call?  Also, do I still get the VIP points for orders I place between signing up and actually getting/registering my card?

As long as you have signed up for a VIP card you'll accumulate the points. The physical card may take a while to be mailed out. Mine took about 2 months to arrived. 

Do they usually take this long to tell us what the esclusive set will be?

Sales usually start at 12ET/9PT so I would assume it would be the same for these VIP sets.

I wonder if this is a US market only release. It seems europe would know by now otherwise. I hate to be asleep if is ecto-1.

We`ll find out, hopefully, in an hour. It`s probably the Mixer but it would be great if it was the ecto-1.

Historically, there is alway a purchase limit per set. Although, that doesn't dissuade people from placing multiple orders.

 

As to how many that I will personally buy? None for the Fairground Mixer at the moment. I'll most likely purchase the maximum that's allowed for the Ecto-1.
