May 6, 201411 yr The IR remote that I ordered in early March finally arrived on Monday. Getting the IR sensor to fit in the box car required a little modification from my original design, and I'm still working on some finishing touches (roof), but overall I am happy with how it's turning out. I'll do a brief write up on the new design, but tourist season is in full swing now so it'll be a while before I will be able to get to it. Anyway I had a couple requests for video so here ya' go...
May 6, 201411 yr I really like this train. And with the power functions added to it, it is even better! Good job!
May 6, 201411 yr Author I really like this train. And with the power functions added to it, it is even better! Good job! Thanks, the kids love it. My next project will be modifying the Silver Mine so that the train can run through it, I saw a post a few months ago where someone did that and it turned out well. Will have to wait for work to slow down a bit before I tackle that though.
May 6, 201411 yr Great job! It`s a really nice train, only thing that`s frustrating about it is that Lego didn`t include a passenger car. That would have been perfect.

So if you spread this idea other people will do the same and buy my ranger sets. haha
