Do you think that this set will follow Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal and become really, really expensive in 2-3 years time? Also, do you think that Taj Mahal and Eiffel Tower will be increasing their value even more?

For most sets and exclusives I'd say this is a sweet deal. But for Tower Bridge I still see 1x1 slopes in my nightmares from when I put mine together.

Hmmm maybe I should start up a side business doing this... But I would further sub out sticker applying for certain builds.  Maybe certain other elements also. I would just be the GC that collects the check and orders missing pieces at a 25% up charge.

Ha! I saw this just now. Almost considered responding, as I enjoy the construction more than anything, but $20 isn't much for all the time it would take to do.

Too bad it isn't used/ loose pieces. Imagine the kinda money we could charge then

Plus the bags are not numbered. It's a beautiful set, but a chore to put together. 

I let my coworker build our Tower Bridge. He said his wife really wanted to build it and I knew I would never get to it. Worked out great as I can't stand repetitive builds. Now I need to see if he wants to build my maersk  I don't like stickers either.

I built my TB with the help of two friends. 2 people building each tower in parallel and the third person sorting and pre-supplying the pieces. We rotated the sorting job from time to time. The build went relatively quickly this way and was enjoyable.

Have a 47S5 i got from TRU last week

Thoughts on this going this year perhaps in September 3/4 of the way through....even though we have a new box design I still think it Could go this year anyone got any opinions?

I have 2 ways of looking at this new TB box ordeal.
1) It could mean Nothing at all.
Making the new box was directed at saving retail space, storage space, nothing more nothing less.
They could retire it when ever they want, the box adjustment was pennies vs space & shipping savings.

2.) Or because it now saves space, they could keep it another 1-3 years.  

Who really knows, but, if in fact the new Landmark set shows up, then either the TB or SOH will get the pink slip.
