There are a lot of colored pieces that make up the interior of the bulid, but yeah the outside I'd just a bunch of Grey boring bricks.

 

 

Sure they're boring, grey bricks. But what matters is how they are put together to make the finished item.

As soon as the LEGO Shop at Home site mentioned that Tower Bridge was out of stock. Price went up to 349 euro's at a local store.. Crazy....

I still need to get these. Don`t really care about FB for investment, but want one for the personal collection. I`ll hopefully be making a trip to my Lego store next week, and will be buying at least 2 TBs if they are in stock. Get some Mini Campers while I`m at it 

Not sure if it means anything, but the Fall 2013 catalog I received doesn't have SSD, FB, and TB in it anymore. 

 

The Haunted House will not retire for at least until December 2014, I know for a fact that it is still in full production, same goes for all the other modulars available, except fire brigade.

Fall catalogs are usually smaller in 3 of pages.  I bet it's back in the Winter (holiday) catalog.

I've just bought another load from Amazon Italy.

Amazon,TRU, and walmart have been out of stock for a while now and Target has it for $299.  So basically, only Lego has it for retail and they keep going in and out of stock.  I'm not sure if this means anything...

The Tower Bridge wasn't in the Summer catalog either, if it was retiring at the end of the year, I am pretty sure Lego would make sure they had plenty made til then, yes and the rumor is Tower Bridge and haunted House Dec 2014.

I do give people with insider info (e.e. access to annual order forms) benefit of the doubt. That is solid info!

Maybe he can't order anymore in 2012 ( for some or all of the sets you mentioned) since 2013 resell orders were already done?  Can you ask him about 2014 ordering of these same sets?
