I need some help. I ordered quinjet off target ebay. It arrived a few days late and the box was trashed. Huge gaping hole down the side and bottom, bad enough that they had to use packing tape to cover the whole thing and put it back together. My guess is the truck was in an accident or overturned. Anyway, the lego box was popped open and completely thrashed too.

 

So I called the number on the invoice and it's straight to voicemail. I leave a message and get a VM the next day and an email just telling me to return it. I would much rather get a refund or something else since the set is likely gone and unavailable on their site and especially for that price.

 

Does anyone know how to get on the phone with someone from target ebay? I am at a loss, I tried calling again and it went straight to VM again.

Do I file a case with ebay? I doubt they care about me since it's target, and will likely rule in target's favor since they offer a return?

File a case and pursue it. Ebay claims 100% buyer protection and this should be no different. You will get your money back.

You can try an exchange at a target that still has it in stock worst they can say is no. I wouldn't want a $40 credit on an $80 set either and that's what you will get from eBay.
