That what I was thinking. I will stop be the Lego store next week to see if they put them out early. If not, I will reserve the max amount. I have been waiting for a time to use my Lego gift card and VIP points.

I called my local LEGO stores too, they both said they will be in stores next Friday, August 1st. What time zone does LEGO Shop at Home usually make things available? 12am EST or PST? I want to be up to check that first to see if there's an order limit.

 

As for calling early, the LEGO store I last called said that they don't take reservations for newly released products. YMMV, no idea how widespread the policy is, but thought you'd want to know.

I wish there was early access for VIPs, but that's not happening. At least for this set.

Check the Lego store near you - a lot of times they put these out early.

Sorry if this has been covered, but at what time exactly will this be on sale at LEGO Shop at Home in the US? I'm planning my night around this and seeing Guardians of the Galaxy. Is it 12:00 AM eastern?

The site usually updates around 12:00 AM EST. Somewhere around there should be when it is made available. Also, don`t forget Mini-Cooper.

Hold on 2 them, or sell one now on ebay?.. Currently signed copies are selling for around 60 quid. 

 

Do you think signed copies will devalue once they are released globally?  Do you think signed copies will be more valuable once the set retires - i.e. obtain a premium over a regular unused set?

So, who's planning on staying up till midnight for this one?  I'm going to get two tomorrow morning (that is, if the limit is two) and get another two at the LEGO store when I go to BrickFair VA.

Its really weird its not listed on Europe LEGO Shop at Home at all... Im leaving to Vienna Austria LEGO shop at 9th as a trip and would liek to pick 2 up but I have no idea if its only US or worldwide release... .guess tommorow all will be clear!
