Playing in Fortaleza, humidity will be annoying.... there is value here on Mexico.... I doubt they will let Robben wreck havoc like in Spain..... they will close them down... if Robben and Van Persie have a bad day, Holland is doomed! 

 

The only value apart from x2 on Mexico is straight Holland win, but with humidity I am having serious doubts.

As predicted so far... Mexico dictating the play, Dutch 0 shots on target.....

 

x2 stands strong... we shall see what Netherlands can produce in the next 15-20 minutes.... if at 70th minute stays 0:0 I predict extra time and probably penalties, unless Mexico gets a ''lucky'' goal (or the Dutch)

So lucky.... Hardly believable.... luckily I cashed out my bet on 1:1.... for 70% of win.... still happy for making a wise choice!

That tying goal broke Mexico... Best thing for Mexico was to have the extra time go quickly in order to regroup.

But the Netherlands had other plans and put the game to sleep before extra time.

I predicted 1-2 with some friends, the actual score. Too bad we only do it for honour.

Best player so far..."Ha-mez" Rodriguez, best goalie...Mexico.

 

I like the Dutch team but they were such thugs in the 2010 Final.

I think the call was the right one.. An experienced player like Marquez should have know much better.

Plus Mexico brought it upon themselves. They defended too deep after the goal and invited pressure . Also, who on earth doesn't cover the top of the box on a corner!!!

Yeah I don't have any problem with the call. I have had problems with Penalty kicks for a long time. Make these players take it from the 18 yard line unless a goal is eminent. 

 

Would prevent stupidity like that challenge form deciding a game without a great play from a player.

Well played Algeria, what a last ditch effort goal, great cross and finish!

Algeria messed up not finishing all those chances in the first half. They had Germany on the ropes.

So many games have been close and certain teams could have been glorified with clutch upsets... Oh well, there's always four years from now!
