New Member looking for bulk lots

Featured Replies

I am a new member of brickpicker.com looking to get into bulk lots. However, I am having a hard time finding good ones. Any advice on how or where to find good lego bulk sets would be highly appreciated! I am looking for bulk sets with minifigs not ones that have already been sorted and minifigs removed.

Ebay used to be a goldmine for these, but they have dried up a bit and prices have risen since so many more folks are looking for them and know what to look for.  Check your local craigslist as well as deals can be had, just have to be patient and wait for the right ones.  Don't just buy 30lbs of bulk for the hell of it, make sure it is going to be worth your while. I've done well in both arenas, but usually only grab one every several months or so to keep my wife from strangling me.

Thanks I checked my local Craigslist, but being from pretty much the middle of nowhere in southern Missouri, there wasn't much to be seen... I think I will wait for city-wide yard sales in places like Kansas City and look for them there.  :dontknow: or just ask around

You could always put an ad on CL stating you're looking to buy Lego bulk.

I see these all the time on CL, not sure how much action they get, but it couldn't hurt.  Just be prepared for everybody trying to sell you their junk for $10/lb.
