A sign of things to come? I have picked these both up at pretty good discounts at various Walmarts lately. I can understand maybe removing them from shelves, but they are already completely deleted from the website. What could that mean? *wink wink, nudge nudge*

I'd love to see a Black Widow (and Hawkeye) prequel, really hope they do one. But regardless, I think she's in enough of the upcoming movies that we'll see her in a set or two up ahead.

I'm a Scarlett Jo fan...but think another actress could be better?  Some characters like Wolverine and Xavier  are perfectly casted (IMO).  Maybe I don't know the history/back story of Black Widow and fans generally think Scar Jo is doing a fine job. 

She is in the new Captain America movie..and pretty sure the Quinjet is in it too.  (I am reading the book to my kids)

Those books are brilliant marketing by lego BTW. Mine go goo goo for them and it puts ideas in their heads too

The article talks about a prequel using younger actors for Black Widow and Hawkeye (cheaper, and makes sense anyway for a prequel taking place some years back). I love the current actress, but would have no problem with a younger version newcomer.

Ironically I`m not a Scarlett Jo fan. Lots of movies that I like with her in them, but by herself, she has never sold me on anything. Winter Soldier looks great, and her performance will no doubt raise some interest in the Black Widow merchandise, and a film of her own will no doubt do the same thing.

 

I wish she is soon added to the Super Heroes ....

Just got back from the New Captain America movie. Really enjoy it. Anyone else?

Yeah it was good. I think it'll only further the superheroes line. Black widow, falcon and Nick Fury should see a rise in value. When they make a winter soldier minifigure it'll be a hot seller imo, which since they end the movie on the premise of finding him I think it'll be soon.

Watched it last, loved it. Solidified why Cap has always been my favorite Marvel hero.

The movie was pretty good. I am not huge on the super heroes themes (not like I am on the most beautiful woman in the world Scarlett Johannson) but the movie was pretty good.

 

Either way, there were quinjets galore. They did crash several of them again, but being a big part of the movie, maybe that Quinjet looks a little better (along with the Black Widow minifigure).

 

Only bad thing is that no one ever really says its name. But its certainly more recognizable after seeing that movie.

Just saw it myself and really liked it! My kids really dug it too!!

 

My first thought coming out of the theater was "I need more Quinjets!!!!"

Yeah now I may keep a few more of the ones I picked up sealed. It really is a nice set. Target seems to have an endless supply though.

Awesome.  I just grabbed my only one for $50 a week ago.

I like this set a lot. If bought at a discount you are getting a really good deal. Shouldn't have much trouble getting to $100. For most that almost doubles the money on this.

I'm holding mine till Christmas 2015.

Completely agree. there were a TONNNNN of Quinjets in that movie. i could see kids wanting multiples.

 

Now that Target is done with them, perhaps TRU will actually sell out at 89.99 and from there, its on to the races.

 

 

 

-oh and did anyone else wonder how big a UCS helicarrier would need to be to land them on? Completely financially unfeasible, but it would be sweet.

If they keep having success with all of the Avengers and Thor movies moving forward the Super Heroes line could potentially sell better than Star Wars for a period of time, at least around the holidays.

Interesting to hear! Made 300mil over the weekend, which is, wow a lot of $$$. Should boast well for the sets.

IT also made me want to open up a Spider-Cycle Chase 76004 to get a Nick Fury figure (exclusive to this set).

He gets some good screen time in this one.

This set had an Orc Forge feeling to me...and then I noticed in the CA previews it was shown a few times. I also liked that last year this set was heavily dogged on this site. Glad to hear it was used a lot in the movie, makes me feel better about it's chances. The only thing it was missing to be a sure bet was exclusivity to a retail chain.
