Look who's back...

Leave it to Lego to kill the value on one of their greatest polybags. I guess it's too much to ask for Malak.

I personally don't have any extras. I received two of them when they were out and sold my extra for like $25

Had a few but I sold them awhile back for nice money. Will be interesting to see the codes on these to see if it's old stock or a new run.

The fact that it is free with any lego star wars purchase makes it worse.  As a minifig collector, this is a big kick in the balls.

There's words 'exclusive' or 'collectables' that LEGO like to use to big up their products are just standard empty mass production marketingspeak.

Mr Gold could well see a return in this new era of Operation Combat Reseller.

Mr Gold

to be fair there aren't that many characters in the Star Wars universe.

The DC in Kansas City was giving this guy away at some random point in the last year or so. Maybe there's "shadow stock" out there and Lego saw an opportunity to unload it all at once. Part of me can believe they'd actually reprint Revan--especially with Disney at the wheel.

And then part of me says eff it. Lego has taken shots at "us" from the big (DS) to the small (this mini).

SOB!!!!

Took the words right out of my mouth. Jeez Lego Group, you really do hate us don't you? I'm calming down tho... heck, I think I only have 1 of these guys.  First impulse was to list it tonight, but then... I'd feel like I need to go to the Lego store Sep 30 and get another one! Actually, they just saved me from buying a Star wars Lego that I don't need, so... thanks!

If it's packaged differently with the Disney logo, all bets are off.

luckily says 5002123 and has Lucasfilm trademark on flyer but that doesn't mean they don't have thousands.   Kind of like ol' Yulawhatshisname ran out in 3-4 days and then mysteriously I'm able to purchase 2000 of them 6 months later...

I had a feeling this would happen and had extra stock. About 6 months ago my girlfriend bought me a set online (can't recall which one) but a freebie was on the order and we did not receive it. Being the smart girl she is she called in and they said sorry we don't have anymore. Long story short she said he's a big Star Wars fan what can you send instead. 3 days later 2 of these show up. I'm like how the hell did they send you these?! They were only available for a week like 2 years ago...

How times is Lego going to slap it's AFOL/investors around this year?! I can't take much more..I'm weak and faint easily...

Catch me!
