December 12, 201213 yr Wondering if anyone ever had this happen. Picked up a MMV off ebay for $89 with free shipping. I then get an e-mail from the seller stating they accidentally shipped two of the same set and I was welcome to keep the second if I sent a payment for $75 once both were received. He also asked that I not refuse the deliveries. He stated that the boxes would be coming directly from LEGO and he has sold over 300 of this set. Sound too good to be true? Using a stolen credit card? I will check the packing slip when the boxes arrive. Should I call LEGO when I get them?
December 12, 201213 yr I'm almost 100% sure this is a scam. He's most likely using stolen credit cards to buy the sets, so I would let LEGO know. I accidentally bought a set like this a year ago and I was blacklisted by LEGO and had to call to have my name removed.
December 12, 201213 yr Definitely sounds like a scam using the dropship stolen credit card play. I would be wary if I were you.

December 12, 201213 yr Author Thanks for all the responses. I kind of figured something was fishy once he said they were coming directly from LEGO and the prices just don't add up.
December 13, 201213 yr Yeah I'm thinking most likely a stolen cc unfortunately, like you said those numbers just don't add up for someone who is purchasing directly from Lego, definitely report that!!
