TB & HH not in Jan and Spring 2014 Catalogs? EOL?

Featured Replies

But then again, perhaps there will be simply a new Halloween line up.

I doubt that there is a new Halloween line up. If there is a new line up, we would of heard something about it by now. Right? I don't think that there will be a new line up for a few years, but from my observations on the HH, it will most likely retire at the end of this year.

For reference, a LOT of sets don't appear in various catologs, it is one of the worst ways to determine EOL dates IMO.

It will really depend on the codes.

  • Has anyone noticed that the Tower Bridge and Haunted House are not in the LEGO January 2014 & Spring 2014 catalogs! Could this be a sign of EOL?

Lets not overreact and be realistic. Both these sets will still be around by year end, book it.

I'm not even scared as my lego store and TRU have a bunch of these hanging around, especially the HH. HH has become a shelf warmer. I asked the manager when they'll have a sale on the HH, he said he wish because it's hogging up the shelf and it's looking like junk. I'm not buying this junk yet and will let TRU continue to stock this junk. It's like free storage for me.

Indeed, if there is a new one, it should have been anounced already.

That's a difference with Europe, or at least Belgium. Here it can only be found in some B&M. Rest poofed. Retailers as TRU NL or DE don't have them anymore. Here, it is as good as sold out, but that can also be because Halloween is not so popular here either so no need to keep stock until then.

Ah joy, another opinion being passed off as a fact. HH might just make it to the end of the year here but I doubt it. In the UK it's only sold at LEGO Shop at Home where it's currently OOS (until October) in which case if it's remaining stock or a last production run I don't see it being back for long

I really hope it's not definitely OoS, I'm checking the LEGO Shop at Home 3 times a day, because I need one for myself...

You don't want to miss out on this set, it's too good. I remember an Emazers post when I first joined, he rates this as one of the sets with the biggest potential.

BTW it's very, very simple to see if this house is seeked after or not.

Just check the european ebay and see the "sold items": nearly all sets at MSRP have been sold. That's enough to convince me.

I think Haunted House will be big :money:

At Halloween this Set will sell very well.

  • 1 month later...

Looks as though this is now Sold Out at Lego Shop at Home (UK). Managed to grab one this morning; checked again this evening and now Sold Out...

  • 2 weeks later...

Managed to pick up one at the weekend - now the question to hold or flip quickly now - going quite well on ebay?

HH around till year end book it...This is why no one listens to anything you say on here... "HH junk Shelf warmer" etc etc Maybe you should keep your WRONG thoughts to yourself

Yeah that was a pretty awful post! But I got a bunch of HH if he wants to pay through the nose for one. Give him a real nice deal on one!

No one is 100% sure except for the LEGO company......Maybe they aren't sure themselves.

Sometimes it comes back for a few minutes, probably because they found some leftover inventory or some returned items. Or maybe they just made another small batch. I believe most people here on BP seems to agree that it's over. ...............I think............... or are they all trying to trick me................ :dontknow:

TB is reduced on Amazon Spain right now without quantity restriction. Just ordered another 10 and maybe more tomorrow once I free up more space.

For how much did you find it?

Series 12 CMF is sold out on LEGO Shop at Home.  Definitely a sign of EOL.  Ok, probably not.  Assuming it comes back (which it will, unless it had a 2-week lifespan), this will be a good example of 'sold out' status by itself not being indicative of retirement.

It's at 14% off on there now. What did you get them at?
