Your thoughts on A Wings at $17?

Saw a stack of A Wings on clearance for $17 each. What do you think? Pick them up or pass? I noticed most retailers are around $25 now, but I'm considering setting some aside.

I don't think it will do amazing after EOL just because its not got great figures. But I think its the best one there has been and a really nice set. Worth a few at that price.

Don't buy them take the $150 or more and get a GE, haunted house,Tower Bridge or something but the A-wing is a big bust.

I found a couple of these at $17, and passed.  I even passed on getting one just to build.  I'm not that impressed with the set, and feel like I could be putting my money elsewhere.

Now, now, we all can't afford to load up on large exclusives exclusively.  I think this set isn't going to do much post-EOL, and I think there are better $20-30 sets, but if you want to take a flyer on a couple, go for it.

It is the best version of the A-Wing to date, plus you get a Han Solo minifigure only available in this and the Ewok Village, and of course the exclusive pilot. I have little problem seeing some people pay close to $30-$35 for this when retired.

Sure it is because you're such an expert on small sets.

I'd get two.

Still early in its life so I'd pass for now. If you live in an area where you regularly find clearance items then I would pass. If that's a rare find for you, then i'd pick them up. Just know it might be 15-24 months before you'll cash in.

You only get "a" wing for $17? How much is the other wing? Bazinga.

I grabbed a handful at 50% off about a month ago and later saw some at $17.  I passed on those.

To compare though, I would take almost any 20$ super hero set at $17 over the A-wing.
