What is all the fuzz about the blue spaceguy (astronaut) ? I have still one from my childhood collection. Is it worth something now?

Benny is the blue astronaut in the lego movie.

If the printing is good and shiny, you might get between $12-14. I have seen some as high as $17.

That annoys me so much when sellers list the blue spacemen as benny. They are even doing it for the other colors too. But I guess if it pulls in the customers and money then thats a big mission accomplished.

I sold 12 of them after the movie came out at an avg price of $20 - It does appear that prices have come down a little since then (undercutters).

 

What they really need to do is put a cracked arm Greedo in the next movie, and I will be set.

I made a point of referring to it as the original minifig that inspired the character "Benny" as seen in the Movie, but yes - many are not stating that fact.

It's the keywords which get your item better views.

'yoda yoda' might do the trick!

It hurt me inside seeing all the chinstraps that got broken so these guys could pretend to be Benny.
