Deals at TRU have been amazing for several months now. People complaining about TRU prices are you forgetting:   - $25 hobbit barrel escape (and then tack on $20 off 100, or $10 gift card

  • Of course it's a "hot price"....cause you gonna get burned! Oooooooooo...get it? Like burned like moated or faced. Or burned like with fire...or a hot poker or something. It's late. &#1

  • I love that they are still marked "Hot Price Item".

probably so they can say (in a week or so) it's on sale for $399

I love that they are still marked "Hot Price Item".

Maybe 6 months or a year after the set retires.

-I don't always going shopping, but when I do I buy Lego-

Can't wait till TRU dies a painful death and it's exclusive items get given to a different store.

I still can't believe they're still in business....The next Kmart?

Well when they had their last ever "Buy two, get one free" sale event around the end of 2012 I think. Man, that was some seriously epic spending.

In an odd way I am almost glad they don't have that anymore. I would have no money and would be forced to eat lego exclusives for nutrients.

Absolutely Outrageous. Someone would have to be oblivious to all other retailers to purchase these. Maybe they are getting set up to stop the initial growth on sets at their price for a little while.

And toyrsus wonders why they are shutting down stores and cant compete with other retailers ... I swear this company is run by monkeys

That looks like - with a few exceptions - the Canadian prices for all the sets. They may have inadvertently thrown up the Canadian or Australian page on the US site. Either that or I am going to be paying $250 for the Pet Shop at the Canadian TRU sometime soon.

We in Australia always get rapped with prices tha SSD retails here in the lego store online and toy world at 700 bones wish I lived in the USA

oh man!!  165 for VW Camper!  unreal..... Lego group hates on resellers and investors.  How can they be ok with this?

You know it's bad when the Death Star is cheaper in TRU Canada (still MSRP of 499 here)... especially since our dollar has been steadily declining since late 2013.
