Advice needed: ebay new listing alert website/program

Featured Replies

Hello.

I was wondering if anybody uses one of the "new listing alert" websites/programs  (i.e. stuffalert.com , segbay.com) out there and can make a recommendation. I'm looking to set a search for a specific lego set and buy it now price. I would like to then receive an immediately email if something is posted that matches the criteria. I tried ebay's build in alerts but those don't go out very often and the best deals are gone before that.

Thanks in advance.

Thought I'd report back on some findings:

1) cAlert is not reliable at all.

2) StuffAlert is better but at times you do not receive an alert of a new buy it now until an hour or so later.

By the time you are alerted (assuming that you are looking for a really good price) - it will very likely be gone.

What you really need to do is install an OCD program into your brain - then you can just sit there refreshing the screen, until you find what you are looking for :)
