March 14, 201411 yr http://mentalfloss.com/article/55576/20-rare-and-really-expensive-lego-minifigures Crazy what people pay for these things. I'm happy to sell it to them
March 14, 201411 yr I would suggest this magazine to anybody. I got if for years before deciding the sticker price wasn't worth it anymore since they never put it on sale.
March 14, 201411 yr I wish they would have highlighted pricey figures that weren't giveaways, the whole list could easily just been shortened to "comic con and toy fair minifigs". The only normal one on there was Boba Fett from Cloud City. Where's Alfred or Killer a Croc or others that came from actual sets that are expensive.

That would be far more useful information for the investor who can't score these promo giveaways.

Exactly besides maybe Mr. Gold and C3PO, there is almost no chance of these turning up in bulk lots. 99.9% percent are held by people who know exactly what they have.
March 15, 201411 yr The article is a bit off on the Kraang minifig value. Someone was unloading a bunch of them at very low prices, but it isn't a $100 minifig. While it's not as valuable as the Shadow Leonardo, it is still worth 200-300.
April 10, 201411 yr Jeez, that Red Sox minifig from 1999 is awful. Goes to show how far minifigs have come over the years!
