I have an opportunity to buy 80 minifigs for $120... Don't know exactly what I am getting. Is this worth it?

Well most minifigs there will probably sell for 1-3 dollars each. The star wars, warriors elves, and people from the lego movie might sell for 3-10 dollars each depending on the minifig. I would always assume the lowest amount possible and then evaluate the sale to determine the amount of risk there is. Normally, I would not buy a lot of 80 minifigs for more than 80$ to minimize risk and maximize profit.

That's too much of a gamble for me, I'ld pass. If you really want them shoot out an offer in the $50-60 range and see how motivated the seller is. Random minifigs can take a looong time to sell and lots like that are almost always missing parts.
