Mos Eisley, I apologize if I came across snubby in my post, I can do that online. Reading over my things again, I don't see how I compared how much you were selling to him, I was saying that you don't talk about it and thats all.

I am not trying to say that his ideas are best, although I have learned some good insight from him as well as others on here. All I am saying is you can't expect someone who is vocal to not be heard. Let's face it, the masses are drawn to those who are doing things on a bigger scale than us, in my line of work, if there is someone who is at a place where I want to be, and they are sharing their ideas, I will listen. If I were in your place and had already made a good deal of money from selling a lot of Lego, I would be in a better place to critique others ideas. However, I think there are a lot of newbies on here like me who don't know a hill of beans about how to make money doing this compared to others and for my part, I am happy to hear what others have to say. This thread for example, is entirely about me learning why many people here who do a lot of sales have small sets in their collections. Emazers is certainly not the only one saying to invest primarily in big sets, I am sure you are aware of that, nor was he the first to mention it.

There are a few on this site(that I know of) that have quite a bit more than me...and with much larger sets as well.

Whats bigger than 10189? I see that one is your collection.

I mean my average set size is not as large as many on the site. I have many smaller sets mixed in. I buy many small sets because I'm an avid collector as well as investor, so I don't always think about ROI when making a purchase. A good example of this was my Atlantis collection. I knew they weren't great investments at the time, yet I wanted to build them, so I bought the whole theme.

Ok got it, I was going to say, having 10189 and 10179, you aren't lacking in large sets, but your average set size is a bit small. I am ordering a bunch of barrel escapes here so that should bring down my average a bit as well.
