Picked up 2 GE's from walmart today. Both in minty fresh shape in a lego box.

Do the longterm speculators see this approaching anywhere near CC or GG status given it's unique status under the MF theming?

FWIW HH is already outperforming GG handily in the early stages. I bought my MISB GG for $300 shipped on ebay 18 months after its offcial retirement.

Yep half of our orders of 8 were shipped 3-3-1-1 and the other half 2-2-2-2. Either way it is money in the bank. Good chance these were damaged prior to Target even getting them to distribute.

Ordered 4 GE from WM a while back. They shipped 1 via smart and back ordered 3. The one arrived naked and in such a bad shape that USPS stamped it as "received damaged".

if it was me i won't take anything less than 30% off. doesn't mean that they will give it to you.. most likely i will just return it i.e. take it to the store and return and get my $$$. with online return of target and toy r us; it takes almost 2 weeks after they receive the item to get your $$. so better to take it to the store.

 

with  box damage its almost like selling without the box and obviously people/BP'er would want discount . its not like saying MISB or NISB.

Maximum amount Walmart can discount a damaged item is 20%.

I went ahead and canceled my battle of five armies.  Sigh. I think I'm getting too old for these kinds of moves.  Good luck to everyone else.

I finally found a lake town chase on amazon warehouse deals and it arrived today. With a $20 walmart clearance sticker on it. I am afraid of what's (not) going to be inside

Since my was listed as not yet shipped, I just went ahead and cancelled it.  Once less thing to worry about.

2 Huge Target Boxes arrived each with 2 Town Halls from the last flurry of in stock.

 

I'll take some photos and advise status later tonight.

I canceled as well. It seems clear they aren't going to ship the incorrect set. You would think it would make more sense on their end just to cancel them then send out witch king battles, then send out return labels, then accept the returns and then restock them. But what do I know?
