October 24, 201411 yr Do the longterm speculators see this approaching anywhere near CC or GG status given it's unique status under the MF theming? For an intelligent analysis of 10228 read here: http://blog.brickpicker.com/evaluation-corner/lego-10228-haunted-house-investment-potential-that-is-scary/ FWIW HH is already outperforming GG handily in the early stages. I bought my MISB GG for $300 shipped on ebay 18 months after its offcial retirement. Edited October 24, 201411 yr by asharerin
October 25, 201411 yr This should be interesting...12 TH en-route from Target. 2 boxes with 3 units and 6 boxes with 1 unit. The boxes with 3 are likely bouncing around on top of the single packed units in a UPS truck on a bumpy road.
October 25, 201411 yr This should be interesting...12 TH en-route from Target. 2 boxes with 3 units and 6 boxes with 1 unit. The boxes with 3 are likely bouncing around on top of the single packed units in a UPS truck on a bumpy road. Yep half of our orders of 8 were shipped 3-3-1-1 and the other half 2-2-2-2. Either way it is money in the bank. Good chance these were damaged prior to Target even getting them to distribute.
October 25, 201411 yr Ordered 4 GE from WM a while back. They shipped 1 via smart and back ordered 3. The one arrived naked and in such a bad shape that USPS stamped it as "received damaged".
October 25, 201411 yr if it was me i won't take anything less than 30% off. doesn't mean that they will give it to you.. most likely i will just return it i.e. take it to the store and return and get my $$$. with online return of target and toy r us; it takes almost 2 weeks after they receive the item to get your $$. so better to take it to the store. with box damage its almost like selling without the box and obviously people/BP'er would want discount . its not like saying MISB or NISB. Maximum amount Walmart can discount a damaged item is 20%.
October 27, 201411 yr Amazon.com "Battle of Five Armies" in Shipping Now status. Is there a weight listed on the order?
October 27, 201411 yr Mine is preparing for shipment too no weight yet. Looks like two of 79017 would be 3.44 lbs + packaging and two of 79015 would be .66 lb plus packaging.
October 27, 201411 yr I guess I should cancel mine before it ships then. I don't even want to deal with another Amazon return right now.
October 27, 201411 yr Where do you see the weight for the package? Pasted the tracking # at UPS.com and it's at the bottom. Shipped/Billed On: 10/27/2014 Type: Package Weight: 0.90 lb
October 27, 201411 yr 2 have also shipped - Shipped/Billed On: 10/27/2014 Type: Package Weight: 4.80 ozs
October 27, 201411 yr 2 have also shipped - Shipped/Billed On: 10/27/2014 Type: Package Weight: 4.80 ozs Maybe they just weighed the label.
October 27, 201411 yr I went ahead and canceled my battle of five armies. Sigh. I think I'm getting too old for these kinds of moves. Good luck to everyone else.
October 27, 201411 yr I finally found a lake town chase on amazon warehouse deals and it arrived today. With a $20 walmart clearance sticker on it. I am afraid of what's (not) going to be inside
October 27, 201411 yr Pasted the tracking # at UPS.com and it's at the bottom. Shipped/Billed On: 10/27/2014 Type: Package Weight: 0.90 lb 0.9 lbs here too, must have used those helium filled packing pillows. #keephopealive Edited October 27, 201411 yr by fuzzy_bricks
October 27, 201411 yr Since my was listed as not yet shipped, I just went ahead and cancelled it. Once less thing to worry about.
October 27, 201411 yr 2 Huge Target Boxes arrived each with 2 Town Halls from the last flurry of in stock. I'll take some photos and advise status later tonight.
October 27, 201411 yr I canceled as well. It seems clear they aren't going to ship the incorrect set. You would think it would make more sense on their end just to cancel them then send out witch king battles, then send out return labels, then accept the returns and then restock them. But what do I know?
