Kudos to amazon - received my 2 death stars today and was worried.

One big box which looked beat up and not filled so caved in a bit.

Opened it and they put left both deathstars sealed in their Lego case boxes, together into one box.

Pristine condition.

I too have had good luck with Amazon with getting DS - mine was also shipped with the original Lego box inside another shipping box.

Just received a Pet Shop from Amazon and it was their best packing job to date--plenty of brown paper to provide a nice cushion and minty fresh Pet Shop. Maybe they're listening to all that packaging feedback?

Received my 2 Town Halls from Walmart via FedEx in the lego shipping box.  Ordered on Oct. 2. A hole in one side of the shipping box put a hole in the side of 1 Town Hall.  Not a perfect shipping experience, but better than I hoped for from WM.

when my HH order was cancelled, those were the terms they used in the cancellation email .

I never received a cancellation for my HH.  It is still in Customer Service, I'm sure they're trying real hard to find me one.

"The demand for the item(s) listed below have exceeded our expectations and the item(s) are no longer available. We regret to inform you that the order for these item(s) has been cancelled from your order #Y77..........."

... via email, of course - figured it was standard procedure in general so didn't elaborate at first, sorry.

first one I've seen.

If that's not The Sign, i don't know what is... Unless it was mistake on CS account.

Have we seen cases when something in the order was cancelled, and not by mistake, and later show up as "available now"? Excluding extremes such as VH/BZ/AS ? Heck, they even did not cancel people's RI backorders for two plus months...

I just posted 3 others from Brickset.

Hmm.... hi-fives all around? I will only have 4 ... but maybe they will find a pallet at TRU, like they did with SSDs (though perhaps they used delorean time machines to get those...)

I had ordered a HH the last time they came up at Amazon. My order was declined and I fixed the next day. Package arrived today in ok condition. Interesting seal code. 49R3. Ones I got from target were 37R4.

The TH I ordered from Amazon is suppose to arrive today, the TH I ordered from SAH on October 6 was shipped yesterday suppose to arrive October 16.  I will post codes when both arrived.

My 4 shipped too, yay. Now The Wait and the inevitable lottery with The Damage...

You guys are incredibly lucky! I still haven't even score a measly one....
