The only thing "extra" you are going to get is disappointment.

The GE I ordered on July 8 has moved from Backorder to In Process.  Hopefully I'll get a shipping number today.

I received mine about a week after ordering. They never sent a shipping notification or uploaded a number on eBay.

They do that so you will break down and buy amazon prime. It's normal.

My mangled and taped SSD from Walmart with shipping label stuck to the side arrived today.

Seal code looked like 20R4.

I wonder if this was a BP return. Should we start marking these discretely similar to what people do with $1 bills to track their origin? Could be fun.

Just received my GE from LEGO Shop at Home in perfect shape.  Only ordered 1 July 7th.  Code is 27r4.  If my math is right, that puts packaging (production?) at the first week of July just before I placed my order.  This shows they can easily make more to satisfy demand and have them in hand within a couple weeks.

No, it just means that did another run. Once the run happened, they enabled the ordering. It is not like you ordering it made them produce more.
