February 18, 20214 yr My BO Diagon Alley from 1/1 shipped almost 6 months from original sold out date. Still haven’t seen this set available from any other US retailers.
February 18, 20214 yr Gingerbread House I ordered at LEGO Shop at Home when in stock a week or so ago: delayed to March 7th ship

February 19, 20214 yr Amazon has them for retail scratch that. Not adding to cart Edited February 19, 20214 yr by MotorCityMuscle
February 19, 20214 yr Amazon stacked my 3 AT-ST on their wide side and shipped them in a box barely tall enough for them. The bottom box is semi-pancaked

March 3, 20214 yr $169 Treehouse (ordered last week) from Walmart arrived...2 units in a single large outer shipping box: minty fresh
March 4, 20214 yr Bought a NIB 21308 Adventure Time last week on eBay, it arrived today. I completely ignored this set (including the sales) when it was available. But my 8 year old just recently got into Adventure Time (and me, along with him). I showed this to him, and it was instant love. His birthday is this month, so this will be a nice surprise for him.
March 4, 20214 yr Well, this is a pleasant surprise. I never really expected this backorder to happen.

March 5, 20214 yr not sure if this belongs here: I sold one of Seuss' books on Ebay right when I saw that Ebay was planning to cancel; just got email indicating that I was getting funds transfer. SO it looks like they did not cancel my transaction.

If not, you should google "Das Kapital" as well [and curse your history teachers for incompetence as you do so]. And then, for balance, read "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine. It's comparatively short. "Common sense will tell us, that the power which hath endeavoured to subdue us, is of all others, the most improper to defend us."

March 5, 20214 yr I presume you're under 30 y.o. then, and conclude that the Gramscian march has been a complete success. (sigh)

My comments aren't intended to be insulting, and I apologize if the came across that way. I'm just surprised that a lego investor would lack interest in understanding people that call 'capitalists' (which retail arbitrage most certainly is) "hoarders and wreckers". For context on my Gramsci comment, I recommend reading this: http://esr.ibiblio.org/?p=260 Edited March 5, 20214 yr by SpaceFan9 added an important word, 'lack'
