They need another across the board pricing SNAFU to bring them down a peg or two.

Ordered 3 TB's from walmart. Got the shipping email yesterday in the evening. Today the first showed up in Mint condition. The other two are set to arrive tomorrow. I did not pay for quicker shipping I went with the free shipping and it wasn't suppose to arrive until July 9. Wal-Mart just gave me the ultimate hook up. I was utterly shocked to see it arrive so soon. Let's hope this luck continues!

At least that's my experience when my asylum arrived damaged.

I am so tempted to order a couple more TBs from Walmart to increase my odds of not receiving damaged product. Then I can just return what will most likely be damaged. Law of averages....

4 TBs from walmart came in. 2 packs in Lego shipping boxes. One did suffer a fall it seems, so a bump on one corner of one set. For the price, i guess I'll grind the teeth and let it slide - don't want to bother with replacement. Code is 31R3

My other one shipped though.  Looks like it came out of IL, what has been the condition coming out of that shipping center?

I bought 2 and they shipped one and canceled one. I e-mailed and they said there was nothing that could be done. I called and they said that the order was canceled because of a pricing mistake and that they had already shipped out half of the order to recognize the inconvenience, instead of canceling the whole thing.

 

Bummer, but at least I got one. I know some people didn't get any...

They won't do anything. Only amazon has that kind of customer service.

i'm hoping for a similar experience. Going to pick up first (2) of four at WM this evening.

Oddly enough I placed (2) orders during last round (bout 5 min appart) and they shipped from different warehouses.

All 5 SSD arrived from WM in Lego Boxes and mint condition. Very pleased. 5 TB scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Rec'd $80 credit from Amzn for damaged packaging on 1 SSD. The minty units will be my first 'investments'.

Two pairs of TBs arrived in Lego boxes. Some creased corners but overall 8-9 out of 10. Codes are 51R2 and 27R3.  These are not new production but some old stock stayed in their warehouse for quite long. I'm now very ready for the EOL.
