Following up on the Legion of Doom, I mean Target Bag Man.  Target did send me a replacement set, in a box, really well packed.  Hoped they learned their lesson.

 

And my King's Castle from Amazon just showed.  Giant sticker on the front from FBA and the seals are open.  Guess its going back...

My gripe with Amazon is they are sending stuff that is obviously not new recently.  This stuff should be on AWD.  Third set I have recently received that is sold as new, but is actually not when it arrives...

Ok, this is the first I've encountered this. Had my Target order cancelled last night. Seems placing small orders flies under the radar when using GC's and getting the 5% but not if you start buying in volume. I knew those $2k gift cards were too good to be true.

What was the cancellation reason? You sure they just didn't have the stock? I would call before everyone grabs their pitch forks and run you out of town for ending the loop hole!!

And I did call, and they said what I stared originally.

IMO, leave some meat on the bones for Red Card and don't place "big" orders and you will probably stay under the radar. For 90/95% of everyone here that's fine.

Every time a tactic gets mentioned on here, people who didn't know about the tactic see it...and begin to implement it.  And then loopholes get closed.

In my experience, Target only cares if you buy a lot of the same item using redcard credit card. They send a warning letter first. I have not tested this out with red card debit card but that is my default payment method and I never have any issues using GC for higher value orders. 

Nope.  Last round of RI's I had like 30 separate orders for the  max limit of those and DDC's and no harm done.

recently the max-limit of some lego sets has been down to 1/order... really frustrating and time consuming to place orders.... tracking is another pain...

of course works wonders on large exclusives ... at least they pack them well but smaller sets... different story..
