September 1, 20169 yr I guess the Gr8OnlineDeals for the Nexo Castle crap is starting to happen. Quote This is to inform you that this item is currently back-ordered and it may take 3-4 business weeks in order for us to receive this product. We would like to refund your money immediately but would need your assistance. If you are looking for your refund and to receive payment the following day, then we would need you to cancel the order on your end. If we were to cancel the order, then it would take approximately up to five (5) business days to go through and four (4) business days for our team to refund your payment. Our team wants what’s best for you and cancelling your order will refund your money immediately. We humbly apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will consider us again for your next purchase.
September 1, 20169 yr I received something similar and homie don't play that. If they want to cancel the order they need to do it on their end.
September 1, 20169 yr I haven't received any email regarding that order. My 'Order History' shows "Preparing for Shipment". I guess we'll see...

September 1, 20169 yr With people getting their Amazon LEGO resurrection orders from Tuesday delivered (And some getting Tumblers cancelled), I'm starting to get worried about my 2x Phantom order. Still in "Preparing for Shipment" status for the last 2.5 days. I'm a non-Prime low-life but was quick and early to order ..... keeping my fingers crossed but fearing the "your order has been cancelled" email ....
September 1, 20169 yr Speaking of canceled orders, all I can remember is Amazon's $50 UCS TIE "promised"by @dcdfan that was also cancelled....can't forget, can't forgive... Edited September 1, 20169 yr by Lordoflego
September 2, 20169 yr Same on Phantoms here, arrived today. Prime. Can't think of a reason not to use Prime, but to each there own. 2.5 days preparing if sold by Amazon doesn't bode well. :-(Good Luck.

Yeah I split the price of my Amazon prime membership with my brother in law. They allow 2 households to use one prime account.. With Free 2DAY shipping no matter how small and better pricing SOMETIMES, It pays for itself easily. ESPECIALLY around holidays when shipping can be dragged out at alot of retailers for over a week.

So did you reply to the seller telling them just that ? What was their reply ?
September 2, 20169 yr I replied to the guy and said "For 67% off retail I'll be more than happy to wait 3-4 weeks." His reply was: Hello, Thank you for getting back to us. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a definite timeframe as to when your product will be available for shipping. Thank you for understanding. We hope to do more business with you in the near future. Please let us know if you have further questions or any clarifications. Thank you and have a great day! Best Regards, Gr8OnlineDeals

The original email said the item was backordered, I let them know I would wait for new stock. They replied saying they didn't know when they would get new stock, but did not say to go ahead and cancel again. I'm assuming they screwed up, but they don't have to lie about it with some backorder BS.

Instead he tells you 3-4 weeks, then when you agree suddenly the story is changed to "we cannot provide a definite timeframe"
September 2, 20169 yr i am going to hold off and see if they ship them out to me. I ordered 2 of the FORTREX from them.
September 2, 20169 yr I told them that they were the ones that needed to do any cancellation. Otherwise I was expecting my items to arrive on the estimated date Let's see what they would do.
September 2, 20169 yr Author Just got shipping confirmation for recent LEGO Shop at Home Holiday Bauble sale
September 3, 20169 yr Oh and this has some nice "my order status" implications: https://www.wired.com/2016/09/hanjin-bankruptcy-shipping-economy/ Quote Now that Hanjin’s assets are frozen, the stevedores, tug boat pilots, truckers, railroad operators, and others who move goods from ship to shore to store know they won’t get paid—and won’t do the job. The Wall Street Journal reports the deliveries of roughly 540,000 containers will be delayed by up to a month. Meanwhile, America’s National Retail Federation is fretting as the holidays approach. “There is millions of dollars worth of merchandise that needs to be on store shelves that could be impacted by this,” Jonathan Gold, head of supply chain and customs policy, said in a statement.
September 3, 20169 yr Amazon squished 4 sets into 1 flimsy Amzn box almost big enough for all 4 sets. Worst, one of the set was opened and re-taped. WTF! You better check what you get from them
