Here is a little preview of the upcoming updated visual dictionary for Lego Star Wars! No word yet as to whom the exclusive minifigure will be at this time. Rumor is another variant of Luke Skywalker from what I heard through the brick vine.

We can only wish for another another Billy Dee minifig. Maybe he'll be the promo for this book if he wins Dancing with the Stars...

ugh.....

I had a weird sneaking suspicion it would end up being 'him' judging the shape of the silhouette and all the rumors about being another Luke Skywalker. This is fine for all the people who missed out on the original Star Wars sets or maybe even the persons who already have this minifigure but that one has been faded and bleached from sunlight and time.

Well this of anything should point out that while Lego will not re-release an entire set as they did with the failed Legends line, they certainly have little to no qualms about doing such with a minifigure. In a way it could have been worse by being just another Stormtrooper....or Jar Jar. Shoot, if they wanted to re-release an older minifigure then why not this kickass Shadow Trooper?

In any case, this is not an exclusive minifigure by any means other than the book being the only 'cheap' way of acquiring it currently.

Just received the new DK Star Wars The Visual Dictionary.  Nothing really shocking or stands out.

I put together the Luke Skywalker minifigure and turns out it isn't exactly the same as the one released in 1999. This 'update' has back printing for starters.

How many new updates does this book contain ? compared to the last edition?

 

Is this Luke minifig only exclusive to this book or is a re do of an older set verison?
