LEGO Movie on BluRay/DVD in June 2014

Featured Replies

FYI ... for those of you interested, according to VideoETA.com, the LEGO movie should be out on BluRay/DVD this June, which I consider to be quite short turnaround, but am looking forward to getting it.

I think it's doing so well that they want to keep the ball rolling. I hope there is an exclusive minifig or sth cool that comes with purchase!

They need to release the 3D (or extended) Blue Ray version on December to triple dip on the popularity ;)

Or an everything is awesome collectors edition! Includes all lego movie sets.

Hey, that's not far off at all!  Looking forward to it!

Not sure if this is the right place to say this, but I think the Lego Movie is going to create the biggest Out-Of-The-Dark-Ages movement since the Star Wars theme launched.  There will be many many new AFOLs and that is going to translate to strong demand for certain retired sets that will appeal to AFOLS (e.***. modulars and LOTR).

That would be close to $1000 MSRP assuming they include the 2nd wave of sets (Spaceshipsx3, Construction mech, etc)

Yeah, I'll buy if it hits clearance!

No doubt there will be a "collector's edition" that comes with a minifig or small mini build

I hope it comes with Green Lantern.

My son and I were just talking about this. The one figure from the movie that hasn't really been released. That was one of the funniest subplots.
