There are some very influential people on this forum, when they speak people sit up and take notice.

Its great to hear other people views but never a good idea to just blindly follow someone or just buy / avoid because everyone on the forum says so.

Not saying people are lying, but you need to research sets yourself and be comfortable on why your investing on a particular set and understand why people are saying buy this / not that etc.

Never a truer word spoken. Seem to be a lot of new people popping up and trusting other peoples judgement on sets straight off the bat because they can't be bothered to do the research.

By all means new investors can take what people say into account as a lead into a set but still do your research, work out if you and the person you're listening to are in the same territory and have the same buying/selling strategy as you and most of all remember its your money so you need to make the final decision.

I've sold all of my TH's, HH's and SSD's to a reseller with big pockets and re-invested it all into 33 PS's.

I would be willing to move my inventory for the right price.  (3) TH, (10) HH, and (6) SSD.

I'm not saying how many Pet Shops I have but, one thing is for sure, I'm after top money so I won't be undercutting anybody.

For those of you with 20 or 30 of anything...are you in on other sets this deep as well? Just curious...and admiring the deep pockets

My post about the 33 PS's was a joke ofcourse. As well I do not believe Val-E is in for 50. 

I do not have the nerve to buy 33 PS's and wait for 4 years to make some decent profit on such a huge investment.

The set I invested the most in is 14 x 10225 R2-D2. And I am still not satisfied with its performance. I still have them all in my storage. If Lego makes a remake/refresh I will be doomed.

I got rid of 5 of my R2-D2s at the peak and have 5 left for the long haul. Of course, I still have my stash off SSDs that are making me a little nervous as that value will be wiped out as soon as there's a remake. I'm just waiting for a Final Value Fee promotion and I'll then list them all. Other sets I want to sell (which I think have peaked) are the Haunted Houses, Fire Brigades and maybe, just maybe, my graded 10179 that I want at least £5k for! There's no way in Hell that eBay are getting a £250 FVF from me!

I have a few Pet Shops and I'll keep a close eye on post EOL prices and will list about half of them as soon as I can clear £50 after fees, postage, packing and tax.

I hope you're not doomed if you miss an opportunity to sell your 10225s.  I hope that was money you could afford to invest.

Enough on R2 already, he has his own thread and he will do just fine when Ep8 comes out.

With PS, the comments about in for a zillion are in jest, unless the buy in is 40% off or better. That will be hard to achieve now andI have 7 of them so I am happy with that. If it is a mega success then I can always source them for RRP but it´s important to sell as well as buy. Ciglione approves of that wholeheartedly.

Lego haven´t been making it cos noone wants it - see Bionicle, Chima and Scooby Doo for that.

Like T1, this set sells but buy-in is absolutely critical unless it isn´t in which case I am and it will.
