It's probably still available at a lot of stores. Some UK Smyths stores still have it in stock.

Thankfully it's not been available to order from them online for a few days now, so hopefully we've avoided another Tumbler scenario.

Heuristics say that the big price increase will happen over the next 2 months so no need to wait much longer than that. It might actually be worth less in June 2018!

Some people have suggested this set will be a marker for investing in 2017. I, for one, am following sales every couple of days to observe the evolution in items sold, price and new listings.

This will simply be the most important retirement since the gravy train hit a leaf on the line and the future of our little game is 99% dependent on it. Buyers will pay more, it's just that the sellers have to up their prices.

I would very surprised if the Petshop doesn't perform like almost every other 2016 retirement.... poorly

What "negative Val-e" means, is that you have to buy Lego, for some any Lego is negative anymore. I'm good with cheap PS.

Even if you just flip the Pet Shop and break even, you'd still have the snow globe. Seems like a good deal to me. I did the same with two T1's.

Especially a nice part out value at that price point. Around $87 after rewards and selling off the globe......... Not too shabby IMO........

Did the same thing on the PS, but also got a ToA, a couple 50% of Dr. Who's and for me which I built, the Joker Lowrider. Not a bad deal after ditching the Snow globes for $100 after fees/shipping. I didn't have a PS yet so figured it was a pretty solid deal for all them guys.
