February 6, 201510 yr Hmm, order it now or wait for double vip points next month?Hmm, order it now or wait for double vip points next month? Is it worth risking not getting one over 15 bucks?
February 6, 201510 yr Is it worth risking not getting one over 15 bucks? actually only $7.50, you're still getting you're 7.50 if you buy now Yet some people will wait.
February 6, 201510 yr Is it worth risking not getting one over 15 bucks? If you already have a couple, (for me), yes! I am already moving money around to try and best capitalize on 2xVIP and this set should definitely be on one's radar. If you have none or one (or are waaaay below your target) then by all means buy now and later. But I sincerely doubt this is gone in six weeks from S&****.

February 6, 201510 yr This set has been going back and forth between in-stock and OOS at LEGO Shop at Home over the last few days... being massively hoarded or supply slowly going down? Edited February 6, 201510 yr by tacsniper
February 8, 201510 yr If the speculation of Lego shifting to a more dynamic set lifetime based on sales turns out to be true; this thing could be the next Death Star.

It would be easier to speculate if this might already be "the dance" if it wasn't at this time of the year - meaning not long after christmas.
February 9, 201510 yr If the speculation of Lego shifting to a more dynamic set lifetime based on sales turns out to be true; this thing could be the next Death Star. If that is true then all sets are about to become DS with the way the horde buys stuff.
February 9, 201510 yr My local Lego Store (Pleasanton, CA) had four on the shelf when I was there over the weekend.
February 9, 201510 yr The store in Tyson's Corner, VA had several on the shelf as well on Friday night.
February 9, 201510 yr PS is going nowhere. I think the Lego employee I spoke on the phone a while ago was right: After checking in the (production) system he told me that production of PS was planned till far in 2016. I'm only buying PS at the moment at a price point of 125 euro and lower.

February 9, 201510 yr Ahhhhhh if only there was such a thing as a production system that employees could check and it would tell them how long a set was going to be in production. Some employee is sitting somewhere right now telling his co workers of a funny story he made up to tell a reseller today.

Maybe they even have their own Lego Employee Forum with a thread called: "What BS I sold to a lego reseller today!"

February 9, 201510 yr Maybe it was Jorgen Vig Knudstorp working as a customer service rep whilst filming 'Undercover Boss' and he just happened to know off the top of his head.
