I very much doubt it or EV will be around further than this year. They are the last 2 non Disney boxes and with a 2 in 2 out policy, they have been replaced by DS and AOH.

I've got 2 for resale and one sitting on the shelf for my personal collection, I agree with the above, any new star wars/lego fan will definitely want this in their collection (unless we get an immediate re-hash) as it is an epic set, it always receives positive comments when I show it off.

I'm in the market for one more, but will monitor over the next month or so and try and hold out for a better promotional freebie from SAH as that city chase is an absolute pile of dog **** !!

I think the same to be honest, logic says UCS sets have a 2-2.5 yr life, they should be on their way out but nothing is certain with Lego at the moment. The new UCS snowspeeder was due for release this year and got put back so maybe they're only going to retire one set.

On a seperate note 75060 Slave 1 is non Disney too.

Just called Lego SAH and inquired and SC.. Lady advised me over and over not to hang up without ordering one." if I truly want one". Finally she said "after this batch there won't be anymore, and there is very limited stock left in the warehouse right now, if you hang up I can't promise we will be able to get you one.". I know its a Lego CS employee so take it for what's it worth.

That lady should be running a LEGO store.  She knows how to sell.

Makes me wonder if they get sales commission. Every time someone rings up they seem to get insider info on retirements that they should buy immediately.

They will get double commission if they sell a 75159.

Here's the thing... for me to buy at retail price--because let's be honest, I can't conjure 30% off magic on a big set like this unlike other members--I would have to sell it for ~$750 to achieve the profit margin I seek. I can get to that margin faster with small sets. Yes, it's more "work" to sell many small sets in place of one big one, but the times they are a'changin', and no one wants to stare at a big, beautiful SW exclusive gathering dust for years. I have one packed away for me when the time comes, but none as "investments."  

Stay nimble and stay alive. It's my strategy and I don't expect it to work for everyone.

I did buy one actually. I had $40 in VIP points and she offered a London bus, as I was really hesitant with no current offers to be had. I only had one of these currently and the box is torched. So yeah I fell for it.. But hey, now I can build the battle damaged box and sell my fresh one from Lego when the time comes. And now I have my eighth bus!

Another note, I tried to use my rewards code along with an appeasement code I had, but could not use both.  I'd been given a $6.44 appeasement a few months back, but it only shows up as $5 on the website.

No need to be the slightest discreet.  It's not like I'm telling people I picked up 26 Sandcrawlers during the last 2 weeks from TRU, Amazon and Target. I'm too humble for that
