So in Europe the HH, SSD, GE and TH (and some more sets, but not the big ones) are listed "sold out". Can someone tell me why the first two are retired, and the last two aren't?

Would be stupid thing of Lego to put it back to available for a long time (few days).. imagine all the returns they will get to handle. Will cost them a lot of money and effort, doesn't make sense. I think there will be some people on this forum that will need a lorry for their returns lol.

Or maybe people could stop returning things based on items coming back in stock. I get the whole money/space issue, but if something goes EOL a month or two later, you'll have to scramble to find what you just returned again. Seems like a monumental waste of time and effort.

My local store had been getting a steady supply with the past few weeks of monday shipments, but received none today and stated it is now retired.

Me and a partner in crime just ordered 14 pieces of this baby at Collishop. 135 euro a piece is truly riskless, even when it comes back. It's gone already, took 2 hours to go from 66 pieces to 0.

Holy crap. More then 80 in stock this morning at collishop and all gone! Wtf

Gotta love mass panic buying!

Gotta love mass panic buying!

Yes, but this is extraordinary. With the Haunted House, there were far fewer in stock and it took a week or 2. Now in 1 day 80 for a relatively expensive set, is something I have not seen before :$ Good thing I didn't wait until last moment.

I've been a lurker on this site quite some time now. I think it's about time that I will post on this forum as well to share my opinions and thoughts.

Let me begin to thank you guys (and/or ladies ;-)) here to share collishop with the ridiculous price on this set. I already had 3 from earlier this year, but I've just reserved another 7 from dreamland (partner of colli), together with another 3 VW T1 10220 at

Hi, Colishop does not ship to France, right ?

Sadly enough no. It ships to pick-up point. So if you would live close to the border, you could let it be delivered in one of the many pick up points and pay at pickup.

My colleague in Vancouver bought 6 from TRU.ca thanks to my advice. Told him to buy, wait 44 days, if it comes back, return 6 and repurchase 6 immediately for another 44 days hold. Rinse and repeat until it retires. 44 days should push this set close to retirement. Zero risk. If it comes back, just get the refund.

Generally speaking we can say three modular buildings vanished at the same time ( #10211 #10224 and #10228 ) in U.S. and europe/australia. So it will be very interesting to see how they will perform one each to another from now. I think the most potential has the TH (if it keeps sold out everywhere)

I think the HH will do best because there is simply nothing comparable, but the TH could beat it since it's got a higher retail price and its disappearance was more surprising. The GE isn't even in the same league as the other two.

Actually the HH and the TH don't have everywhere the same price as in Canada/U.S. For example both houses have the same price of 179,99 Euro i Germany.
