Truly a work of art, but i can't believe this would be commercially feasible. Just not nearly as iconic as the Ecto nor the Delorean.

I like the idea of the train, just not THIS train.  If I remember right, this thing will need to be chromed out like crazy, too.  As for getting a theme, that won't happen.  The movies are decades old with nothing to regain interest, like a new movie.

They HAVE to turn this down...

BECAUSE I WANT A WHOLE FREAKIN THEME!!!

I would buy the crap out of that train though.

My heart says this.

I wonder how well the Delorean has sold?  It is kind of ugly, most everyone thinks it is ugly, but I still bought one for the nostalgia factor.  I'm not sure how many people would buy the train since it's not the main focus of the movies and doesn't elicit the same memories.

A full series with City Future and City Past, along with western and DINO sets (didn't doc say he wanted to go prehistoric at the end of the 3rd movie w/ his train?) would be pretty cool.  But I agree that it won't happen, not unless there's a new movie secretly in the works...

Yep, hideous design, and a terrible movie. How about these ideas

1. Goonies Pirate ship

2. E.T. Spacecraft

3. Blue's Brothers (something)

4. Top gun jet

5. Alien spacecraft

6. Planet of the Apes town

Worst Looking Lego Train Ive Seen Minifigures Bleh. Overall it is ugly... This should not have got 10,000 votes and Lego would be silly to make anything like this.

Blasphemy!

Here are my thoughts on your ideas, but I am fuzzy on most of these movies.

1 - Is this different than a regular pirate ship, just with different minifigs?

2 - I had to look this up, which means it just wasn't that iconic, at least to me.

3 - Your comment of "something" says volumes, what would you make?  The car is the only thing I could think of.

4 - Any generic jet would fit here, nothing special about a Top Gun jet, unless you put a topless Tom Cruise in it.

5 - Again I don't remember specifically what this looked like without looking it up.

6 - They have the Ewok village, that should be close.  Right?

Just my thoughts, but I am probably biased because Alien is the only one of those movies that I like more than BTTF.

It could be better - but still is a nice set. I think people really underestimate BTTF. Its insane how people forget this movie's insane popularity. I wish we could see the Delorean sales. Guarantee you it will be a winner in retirement.

It's a helluva lot better looking than this train.

time twisters is the most utterly ridiculous theme.

I had no idea the Ghost Train was a re-release. Learn something new every day.

I believe that once a theme has been done, it is no longer eligible for Ideas?
