I found this monorail motor in a bulk buy.

my question is how do I know if it works?  There was the Medium motor, and a battery pack for that, but no other cables for hooking up the monorail motor.  I do have a Load and Haul Railfoad (4563) can I use the speed regulator from that?  I don't know if the connectors are compatible, I'd have to dig it out.

 

I'm looking to sell it, am I just better off listing it "as is" and uncertain if it works?  There doesn't seem to be a huge price difference between "known to be working" and "unsure".
