A post on The Brick Fan mentions a possible list of characters for Series 10.

Aanchir on Eurobricks found images of certain pieces that do not belong to any current set and has come up with some interesting ideas. Also, resourzeman on flickr has created compiled images of what each one may look like.

I guess one thing just about anyone can agree on liking is the costumed characters. They are rather endearing and unique.

LOL. I'm going to have to dig up all the suited minifigures I have. I don't even remember how many or where they all are at this point. 

The reason for this is the crazy prices in Asia.

It really is.  And it's not like there are EMazer types with 100 copies just waiting to unleash them either.  I almost think you could hold it and it will continue to rise.  These probably have a ceiling though...maybe 50-60.  But who knows?
