I can't imagine this going much higher when the UCS is out--not to mention the inevitable redux TIE. If I had any, I'd be unloading them now.

If he has 7 then 1 a month gradually increasing the Price will be just fine. Maybe keep 1 back for posterity just in case some collector wants to get one in 2016 and pays top dollar.

that is a BOLD statement bro and I hope you are right.  I have 20 of them and I cant sell one for 109$ to save my life.

I have a few too but this is a movie/xmas hold.

Which set would you buy, this one (9492) for $52 or a 75101 for $53? I'm thinking that maybe the new movie Rogue One will rise the 9492 price.

Shocked to see 9492 still available at $52.  That's a buy for me. 75101 just came out.  Plenty of time to get that one at that price again.  But that's in the US market.  Don't know about Mexican market.

Is the value on this depressed so dramatically because of the First Order TIE Fighter?

It was never worth much more than 1.5 RRP in the first place, but yeah the new one won´t have helped. 9493 has been more resilient but has also lost value from the heady heights of early 2015.

I honestly don't understand it. Sure, they're similar, but not the same. With all the OT purists, I figured they wouldn't want to have a non OT version.

Buff,  the majority of buyers are not so anal about their Falcons, Tie and Tie Advanced to be able to tell the difference AND be willing to pay more for the OT one.

At least the X Wing being different colours saved 9493.
