Buyers Beware Giftcard Ghosting Orders

So I recently bought toys r us/ babies r us gift cards, to use on online purchases with deals like the current BOGO, the gift cards had a little more value then what I had purchase them for, so I would be saving I thought in the long run.

 

I have tried 3 times to place orders twice on sunday and once today, the orders do not go through. The transaction amount is decucted from the balance but no receipt of purchases. They call this Ghost order or Ghosting. I feel like they are defrauding me.

 

 I used internet explorer on sunday and chrome today. I have called toys r us and they reloaded the card once on sunday before it happened again. And now I have called again to have them revalued. Very upsetting as I had missed out on a couple deals I wanted.

 

I can use the cards in-store  or over the phone but seems like a hassle gas and time and the deals are not the same.
