I do have a problem with words "officially" and "retired" put in the same sentence, because this statement is not true.

It's still available right now in EU by the way.

Got 1 in from Walmart today, ordered 10/6. Date code: 36R4.

Box arrived with a Fedex label slapped onto it. Thankfully it wasn't too beat it up but it's amazing Walmart will just ship them out like that.

Some of you should know by now to buy these in pairs when getting them from Walmart. Their business protocol is to slap stickers and stomp on the boxes before shipping out. I got my two AA in perfectly mint shape shipped via lego's box.

Back in stock at Walmart, I was able to put over 1000 in my cart.

that means it is OOS

Yep.  I've run into that in the past.  Wal-Mart has roundabout ways of saying "We don't actually have any of these"...

Just ordered my last one from UK LEGO Shop at Home. Still available with a limit of 5.

Next purchase will be a second Maersk Ship. I suspect this set will only last a year.

Modularwise I'll move onto the Pet Shop.

I just ordered one a few seconds before the status went to Oct 30. I hope it comes this week and not that a have to wait.

Not sure if this has been posted, but it's not in the catalog that just came in the mail yesterday.  Only four modulars were in there, which imo isn't much of anything...

It's because while this forum goes Ape you know what over modulars they aren't the bread and butter for lego. Modulars are cool but not nearly as cool as everyone here thinks. Lego makes tons more money in other themes.

On the GE, just because people say it doesn't make it so but in addition to Toys ****** Bricks calling it retired, the Brick Blogger is now saying it is retired.

Sounds like it should get the tag by January as a wild guess.

One can hope.
