Pet shop can go OOS at all website and I won't move an inch right now for it. All lego store I've been to have them more than knee deep and this is an understatement as they have boat loads in the back. For those who only shop online, tough luck.

I see it well stocked on amazon and Walmart. If anyone wants a deal, just grab the AA from Walmart, then use the $15 GC. Pet shop is at least two years from retirement so anyone trying to strike fear in this thread, note that it will only work on newbies for a few hours.

It's possible there are talking heads from target, amazon and Walmart trying to spread fear so they can dump some pet shop. It's like stock forum posters trying to unload shares at a higher price by creating a panic buy situation.

I was just clicking around other countries on GE, many are sold out. This rapid pace of selling out never happened with the FB. It's telling me that GE was 'under-hoarded' by lego resellers and this is their last ditch effort to load up before it's too late. I punched in five and the order came through. My neighbour wanted five when I told him about it and by the time he got home, he was blasting me with four letter words. I told him I'll sell him a few at target prices, $249.99.

Thanks. Missed it last night trying to decide to get or not to get. I have 4 now and will call it quits. This is my first investment in sets for the long haul. I do bricklink but I really only do parting out. Excited and nervous haha.

In the UK the FB was "Sold Out" for weeks before being a "Retired Product".  This time in between is probably when they collect from shops to help fulfill back orders.

target was the last place that had FB in the states. Canada tru had it for a few weeks after it was gone from the US. 

There *were* 2 on the shelf at the Lego Store in Mayfair Mall (Brookfield/Milwaukee) on Monday. I was dithering over whether to get one or two while my kids were running all over the place - then someone called the store and an employee pulled one off the shelf, somebody reserved one apparently. I grabbed the other right quick! I didn't ask if they had any others in the back, didn't want to seem too eager. This is the 3rd one I've gotten with my VIP account so I'm treading lightly...
