It's becoming scarce because investors keep buying them up after seeing the performance of the FB. I think only Jeff or Ed could settle this one way or the other and even then that is only a small (possibly flawed) sample of the real hoarding between the 2 sets. I still lean towards GE being the more stockpiled set by investors. I myself have 2 FB and 33 GE and I was around long before the FB retired and when it was still discounted for $119 forever. My inventory and choices may not be the same as many others here so take my FB to GE ratio with a huge grain of salt.

Grand Emporium by 10%.

Also, for those members who want to mess with Brickfolio and put in BS numbers, we will catch you and ban you. This is a warning.

PM members who you suspect of cheating by asking for copies of receipts.

I'd have to delete my whole portfolio then.

I seriously doubt I have receipts for anything not purchased last week. Do the survey and throw it away.

On occasion, Jeff does random audits of the popular sets and member's Brickfoilios to make sure some jerk doesn't put in 1000 sets or some ridiculous number. We just discovered a quality member with such an amount. This is the first and last warning. Don't ruin it for the rest of us.

I'm so confused. Is there a contest tied to a brickfolio? How can you cheat?

I was considering putting in my numbers but am now a little scared for fear of being banned!

What are BS numbers? I have heared about set numbers and seal codes. But never heared about BS numbers.

Isn't the brickfolio private by default anyway? Who cares what numbers I put in a private brickfolio ...

I don't understand what someone would get out of doing this.

Ed,

just curious why would those numbers be an issue.

Given that people make decisions on seal codes, it's not so far out of the realm of possibility that some people may make decisions on other people's buying habits.

Like, if I was the only one to own Alien Invasion... I've said too much.

If you noticed that there was 1000 more GE taken up by brickvestors, then it may affect that decision.

As far as I know, regular members can't see this information....yet.

There is no way to verify your Brickfolio, but we have had many instances in which a member put in crazy amounts of sets to throw off our data on the homepage or information about what members are "hoarding." For example, one person wrote they had 200 10179s. Highly unlikely. It is annoying. The situation today might be a different scenario in which the member actually had the amount posted in their Brickfolio. If the number is legit, then you have my apologies and wonder why the farts do you have so many of this one set?

have you ever thought that people might be suffering from OCD and or MD. and only thing that may soothe them is legos and they tend to stick with what they like.

or may be i am the who don't know what to buy with all the inheritance. hence clicked buy button like 1000 times which happened to be GE.

seems like it does matter to you the information. so what are you doing with that? selling it?

Allow me to apologize on behalf of my english-as-a-first-language people. OCD = Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and BS = Bulls**t. I don't even know what MD is. ;)

I don't even know what MD is. ;)

Depending on context Mc Donalds, or Mental Disorder. Sometimes both.
