With the current number of official LEGO designs (including one created by a fan for the short lived Factory line), numerous MOC's available on eBay, various amounts of ideas on CUUSOO, unique creations across Flickr, and detailed builds on MOCpages, makes me wonder what modular house design would you like to see LEGO come up with next?

I do not have a favorite as they are all very well designed and make fantastic displays. I simply started this thread to hear you guys' input & ideas as to what you would like to see them design next in their lineup of modular style houses. As for me, I would like to see something fast-food related like a burger joint or pizza parlour or maybe even a chinese restaurant. Since we have a fire station there should be a police precinct, and I think it would be amusing if they did an irish pub, haha.

Regardless of what it may be, any modular style housing design always ends up being remarkable. Considering how much everyone here enjoys the 'modulars', I expect this thread to get quite busy!

Heh heh, tell me about it! It's bad enough the modulars are as great as they are, but those corner units are ones I would love to have four of to make one HUGE corner section! I can imagine having four Palace Cinemas all together to make one large Cineplex. Dang it, now I want four of those!

Dang it Orc!!! Prior to you mentioning that I hadn't thought about what 4 GE's or PC's would look like together, now I want to do it haha. PC's, that still sounds weird to me, I'm not quite used to saying that yet like I am saying GE's, GG's, FB's etc lol

The GG is still my favorite!! The GE is a really cool set though. I loved building the escalators and the way they look inside the GE!

One of these days we need to start an acronym thread for sets, but I'm feeling quit lazy right now as I've been up since 5am. Maybe I'll get one going tomorrow haha :)

Now you'd barely bat an eye at such a game with all the ones that have come out in the last few years since then.

Anywho, I remember playing the original Counter-Strike and a little of Counter-Strike: Source. I still am mostly a Unreal Tournament and Quake guy. Also like World of Padman, Xonotic (formaly Nexuiz), Open Arena, and Alien Arena. Besides, those last four are free so what's not to like? :-)

Grand Emporium is by far the best IMO.

In my opinion none of these sets awuhh me if they stand alone. Only once you have 3,4,5 or building 5 fire brigades to make a giant fire house thats what really catches my eye... all these sets have so much different to offer that you cant even begin to compare them.... Buttttttt if i was gonna build 5 of the same set it would have to be the fire brigade....if these babies go sour on the secondary market my fire house will have 16 sets in it:D

16 Fire Brigades would make one heck of a Fire House!! I don't think you'll have to worry about them going too sour on the secondary market though. While it may take sometime for them to increase in value due to all the people hoarding them, I believe they will go up in price eventually.

I think there will be at least a 50 dollar jump in price as soon as we see them EOL and hopefully they will go EOL sometime before Christmas.

I think that all of the modulars will increase in value upon EOL to some degree, but when and how much are the big questions. I bet that we won't see as much of an increase as a Corner Cafe or a Market Street or even a Imperial Shuttle. We will probably see something like a $50 increase right after EOL like kerrmando said.
