I love it!  I think bigger and more advanced building sets are one way to deter Asian fakes and leave competitors in the dust.  Not that I think they'd make an X-Men set this large....but prove me wrong, TLG.

i'm sure if Lego got involved it'd be a $499.99 set, but for me to do it and bricklink all the parts.... three times that probably and I don't make custom minifigures with custom printing, only mix and matching available parts or painting, sculpying large figs
