I see the train getting around $225 (usd) in 2 years or so. Could take longer, it's been heavily discounted. I only bought one, better long term sets to invest in imho. 

 

Was the movie well received in the UK? Big flop in the states. I liked it.

    I have 3 lone ranger trains with the most recent one from target for $80, but I think $225 is over-optimistic for this set.

    Really tempted to grab this from Target for $79.99 right now.  I think this set will see success for the train factor of it.  The Lone Ranger aspect will have little or nothing to do with how this appreciates.  As far as trains go, this one is very cool.  I mean come on, it has a gatling gun for crying out loud!  :)

    I checked my order history, target.com had this for 71.99 with 20% off sale in early Dec, and I ordered a total of 1. That was the time I should've loaded up. OP's price is about 38% off the the UK MSRP. I don't see why you wouldn't jump on it.
