Lego/Google Build with Chrome

Featured Replies

Looks awesome! I'm going to have to try that later.  Did Lego really team up with Google? World domination anyone?

You have to use Chrome! LOL

All kidding aside, looks like it will be one of those things where you can kill time for a long time.

Chrome is not required I was messing around in it just fine with my firefox browser....it does require a lot of bandwidth so downloads are a no go....

Pretty cool idea even if it is just basic bricks....will be interesting to see in a couple months when the world is populated with builds.  There are some builds out there....first one I found was a....ahem, male anatomy lesson.....then just some houses.....

Coolest one I found was up in new york, a 2d space invaders frame...loved it!

Did anyone see this announcement yesterday: http://techland.time.com/2014/01/29/google-chrome-launches-virtual-lego-land/

Short version: You can make virtual build's and even share  them out on google map's.

Start building

It is a bit of fun, basic pieces and color palettes.  My only issue is that cursor has a ghosted brick attached to it and can get in the way while rotating.

Hope this topic fits in this category, since this is more of a virtual building space.
