4440 - Forest Police Station

Featured Replies

Hello.

I might have a chance to buy a few of these sets at a very cheap price brand new.

How do you think it will do in a year or two?

Im thinking its quite a unique set as far as police stations go and I think it will do ok.

Your comments will be very grateful.

Cheers.

I think you hit the nail on the head. It's pretty unique and should do well but if you can get it cheap then you should have no worries. If you can get the museum break in set for cheap that will be a good pick up as well. It's a newer set so you have plenty of time to try and find it at a good discount.

This was 50% off at Target on Black Friday and it didn't sell out until they did an additional discount via cartwheel.

I have the same question about 60008 Museum Break-in. With 6 minifigs and three vehicles, it seems to have a ton of playability. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I like both sets at a discount. Bottom line is police sets continue to do very well. What I like about both of these is they are unlikely to be repeated. Plus the museum break in villain van looks a bit like the A-Team van.

I don't expect astronomical gains, but I have some of both I scored at half off, so I expect to triple my money in a year or two after retirement.

I think the set will do well in the future. Regular police stations are remade often, about every two years, but this set is different and I do not think that it will be remade anytime soon. That being said, I think it will be a good or great investment.

Definite potential for growth.  I've been trying to add these to my portfolio anytime a good deal comes along.

I have only a couple. I like the set though, and pairs nicely with the heavy-duty helicopter, or the small forest patrol car, etc. Nice mix of building, vehicles, and even the bear.

I have 4 and will be looking to sell if price go up to $110-120 range during Christmas. This and the 3368. Need more room to stock up on newer city sets such as town square and cargo plane.

I have 2 that I got during the BF sale combined with the Target Cartwheel promo for $27.xx if my records are correct. Not certain if I'll sell it during the holidays or if I'll wait another year or two. Either way, I'll make a profit. Just have to decide if I can make more on other sets. Chances are that at least 1 will be sold/listed.
