November 24, 201510 yr Available now at EU shop but not added to bag when ordered! Also the BF sales items are now reduced by 5% but not when added to bag F5 time! Edited November 24, 201510 yr by valenciaeric
November 24, 201510 yr keep in mind that during the last couple of days. Target moved a health 600+ units of this.
November 24, 201510 yr Saw one during my lunch break at Lego store on far north side of Chicago. Seemed to be the only in the store, I'm just a little shy about putting big sets in inventory right now.

Even if possibly it will do well. I simply do not like these fantasy builds. And when you look at the entire movie line they have been investment failures till now. Just my 0.02
November 25, 201510 yr The other issue is that here Lego Movie is as popular as a fart inside a lift. You can see several items on ebay for less than RRP whereas all other countries are are at close to 300 euros.
November 25, 201510 yr Domestic: $257,760,692 55.0% + Foreign: $211,000,000 45.0% = Worldwide: $468,760,692 Not that unpopular?
November 25, 201510 yr I can't buy every large set. Gotta say no to some here and there. This is a no. It will probably do ok considering it is not that hoarded, of course the horde seems to have it in their sights right now so that could change in a week.
November 25, 201510 yr The toys, not the movie! The Movie is long forgotten in most kids´s minds as will Jurassic and Chima in the not too distant future.
November 25, 201510 yr One should not forget that TRU here clearance them at 40% off. Whoever got those is going to be firing them off like those LM flippers in the UK for months to come.
November 25, 201510 yr Boys love Dinos regardless of the trademark. Unless it is Barney..Barney can die .... Lol
November 25, 201510 yr Dinos are much more than Jurassic and Lego is much more than Lego the movie. Still, we may all live to regret passing on this set as some are doing with Birds now.
November 25, 201510 yr If next year they make a new ideas set called "fishes", the birds set could become a big winner. Not too unthinkable in my book.

November 25, 201510 yr Must. Resist. Whatever the horde does, I'm not buying this. I may be wrong but will not regret.
November 29, 201510 yr Only got a few of these. I'm thinking they won't be super hot but I'm sure they will double in price eventually. Not very appealing to me but I can see how some would like it Edited November 29, 201510 yr by conceptmachine
November 30, 201510 yr My second Sea Cow came today and I must say, if I had never been in love before, that's how I would describe the feeling. I had to order twice to get a better price, and was planning to return with the $250 receipt, but I am hesitant. I only needed one for personal collection, but I think this might have decent value in 2 years time. Especially if the new movie is good. What do I do?

I'm still trying to wrap my head around you not being to splurge on an unexpected $3.50 for a polybag two weeks ago, but since then you've exceeded the Christmas budget by $200 and also picked up a couple Sea Cows. <shrug>

Christmas tree was not a "need" until it was. I know I make no sense. My husband is a saint for putting up with my nonsense for 10 years and counting. Don't try and make sense of it. You'll hurt yourself. Edited November 30, 201510 yr by ebelle122
December 2, 201510 yr well amazon (not surprisingly) still doesn't know how to ship a sea cow. back it goes. (i know it could retrire any day now blah blah blah and box condition supposedly doesn't matter. My customers do care about box condition, and this one is far from acceptable.)
December 2, 201510 yr I would not ship it back, this thing is getting harder to find by the day. I am sure Amazon will sell out at 249 with-in this next week. Just my .02
