I have a stupid question. 

 

How do you manage and organize your receipts?

 

 

Stores from Target, TRU, LEGO Shop at Home, Walmart, Kmart.

 

Store receipt and online receipt are different size.

 

Do you organize by date, by store?

 

and where do you store them at?

 

What I am doing is use the minifig box (60 count box) for store TRU, LEGO store receipt.

Simple solution that took me years to figure out. I have a paypal credit card that is linked to my paypal account. I get 1% cash back. I only use paypal card for LEGO purchases. I have an ebay app called outright that tracks all ebay and paypal transactions (can be used for amazon also I think) All ebay transactions and paypal usage is tracked through outright makes one simple place to track everything. I'm a simple guy with simple solutions.

In a big fan of the app Genius Scan, you can take photos and attach the PDFs to a collection (titled Kmart, Walmart etc or grouped by month, however you want to do it). You can also backup the PDFs online. It's a very simple app to use.

Get a Fujitsu ScanSnap ix500. It's a little expensive, but it's amazing. You can load a stack of receipts into the top and it'll scan them all
