For $59.99 with a slightly beat up box. Some creasing at the top and side and a small puncture on the front. It appears to be sealed, however.

Even with some damage, at 40% off you should still be able to profit, as long as those bags are sealed. The puncture isn`t ideal, but, well, it`s a train. Trains have always done well, and despite the failure of the LR film, this one shouldn`t stray from that. At $60, it`s a good buy in I`m thinking. 

Sadly, I left it in the store and kind of regretting it now. I may have to make a trip back to get it. I've never bought anything in this series because it didn't interest me. But I was completely shocked to see it on the shelf. I hadn't seen one in months.

How much do you guys think the CTC will get up to? 

I just scored 6 of these at Walmart for $49.00 each. All in great shape. All of their legos were on clearance--looks like they're getting ready for new 2014 stock. I'd pick up more if they had em'. Might hit up other Walmarts in the area. I'm hoping they top $200 in 2 years.

I'd love to get my hands on some more of these.  Especially at anywhere near that sort of price, in fact $100 inc shipping would be ok for me.  But they aren't anywhere I can find.  May have to go for Ebay/BL

My conservative estimate for these is $150 at some point.  Only time can tell how well the Lone Ranger will do as a theme.  If the Lone Ranger goes the way of Pharaoh's Quest or Prince of Persia, the Lone Ranger association could hold this set back a little but the fact that this is a really cool train setup will be what saves this.   If this was independent from the LR, I think the value would climb higher.  But as I said, I still see at least $150 for this set by next Christmas.
